Plainly Painting - David Manley 
Hi David, do you know a painting by Matthew Smith called Cornish Church, 1920. I would love to see the two paintings side by side, wonderful.
Don’t think I’ve seen it…though I’m fond of Smith…he was one of only four ‘modern’ painters on show in Exeter Museum when I was a boy…along with Bomberg, Scott and Lanyon.
Oh…but its rather a lovely one!
