Black Box Sketches

In part more ‘Geos’ but also reflecting an on-going interest in a notion of abstract landscape.  Risking pretension I’m thinking to title the whole project – a box of fifty or so – after this quotation:

“part of the purpose of art is to seek out design in a world which resembles the confusion of clouds.”

p.351, Harris, Alexandra  Weatherland, Thames & Hudson, 2015

This then an occasional series called The Confusion Of Clouds and  beginning back in winter 2018… all 4 by 5″ or thereabouts.
